Prove you own a domain with a DNS TXT record or an HTTP file, much the way you would in Google Search Console. Once verified, CookiePilot rechecks the status for you every day. We handle wildcard domains (*.example.com), subdomains and multilingual sites spread across different TLDs.

Compliance and integrations
Google Consent Mode v2
Complete support for all the Consent Mode v2 parameters: ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization. Google has required these since March 2024 for personalised ads across the EEA and the UK. CookiePilot relays your consent signals to Google Tag Manager and Google Ads automatically, with nothing to wire up by hand. Advanced mode with conversion modelling is supported too.

We hold consent proofs for 5-6 years, in keeping with EDPB guidance. Each one comes with the full picture: timestamp, banner version, scope of consent, language and the visitor’s device. If an audit or a dispute lands on your desk, you can pull up the proof in seconds.
Ultra-light script
The CookiePilot script tips the scales at under 15 KB gzipped, three to five times lighter than the alternatives (Cookiebot ~45 KB, OneTrust ~80 KB). Your Core Web Vitals stay put: LCP, FID and CLS are left untouched. It loads asynchronously and never blocks the page from rendering.
