CookieYes is a popular consent tool, especially on WordPress, and it has a working free plan. Sites usually start comparing alternatives for one of two reasons: they have outgrown the 5,000-pageview free plan, or the bill moves with traffic. This page sets out what CookieYes costs at different traffic levels, what it does that CookiePilot does not, and where CookiePilot is the cheaper or simpler choice.
CookieYes pricing in 2026
CookieYes prices every plan per domain. Its pricing page, checked in euros on 4 November 2026, lists:
| CookieYes plan | Monthly, per domain | Annual, per domain | Pageviews a month | Extra pageviews | Pages per scan |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | €0 | €0 | 5,000 | — | 100 |
| Basic | €9 | €90 | 100,000 | €0.30 per 1,000 | 600 |
| Pro | €23 | €230 | 300,000 | €0.30 per 1,000 | 4,000 |
| Ultimate | €50 | €500 | Unlimited | — | 8,000 |
Prices exclude VAT, which CookieYes adds at checkout. Paid plans start with a 14-day trial, and the card is charged when it ends unless you cancel. Each domain needs its own plan, and an account can hold one Free plan.
CookiePilot pricing
CookiePilot prices per domain too, in euros before VAT. Starter is free for one domain up to 10,000 pageviews a month. Pro is €7 a month or €70 a year for one domain with no pageview limit. Business is €25 a month or €250 a year for up to 5 domains, with an API and white-label. Paid plans have no charge for extra pageviews.
What CookieYes costs at your traffic
Basic and Pro charge for pageviews above their allowance, so the cheapest CookieYes plan depends on how much traffic the site gets.
| Pageviews a month | Cheapest CookieYes option | CookiePilot |
|---|---|---|
| 5,000 | Free, €0 | Starter, €0 |
| 8,000 | Basic, €9 | Starter, €0 |
| 50,000 | Basic, €9 | Pro, €7 |
| 120,000 | Basic, €15 (€9 + €6 for 20,000 extra pageviews) | Pro, €7 |
| 150,000 | Pro, €23 | Pro, €7 |
| 250,000 | Pro, €23 | Pro, €7 |
| 500,000 | Ultimate, €50 | Pro, €7 |
One domain, monthly list prices in euros before VAT, from both vendors' pricing pages on 4 November 2026. The table counts pageviews only. It does not count the CookieYes limit on pages per scan (a site with more than 600 pages needs Pro even at low traffic), annual billing (ten monthly payments at CookieYes, ten at CookiePilot), partner discounts, or IAB TCF and geo-targeting, which CookieYes includes from Pro upwards and CookiePilot does not offer.
With 3 domains of about 50,000 pageviews each, CookieYes lists 3 × Basic = €27 a month, before any agency partner discount. On CookiePilot it is 3 × Pro = €21, or Business at €25 for up to 5 domains.
When CookieYes is the better choice
- You need IAB TCF. Sites that sell programmatic advertising through TCF vendors need a CMP that implements the framework. CookieYes Pro and Ultimate include the TCF v2.4 banner; CookiePilot does not support TCF.
- You need geo-targeting. CookieYes Pro and Ultimate can show different banners by visitor region. CookiePilot shows one configuration per domain.
- Your site stays under 5,000 pageviews a month. Both free plans cover it. Compare the banner and the setup, not the price.
When CookiePilot is the better choice
- Traffic above 5,000 pageviews. Up to 10,000 CookiePilot stays free, and above that Pro is €7 a month at any traffic level, so a busy month does not change the bill.
- Automatic scanning on a small plan. CookiePilot scans every site daily on every plan, the free one included. At CookieYes, paid plans can run scans by hand without a limit, but automatic scheduled scans start on Pro (monthly) and Ultimate (weekly); Free is limited to five scans a month.
- Several sites on one budget. CookiePilot Business covers up to 5 domains in one plan; CookieYes needs a plan per domain.
Both tools support Google Consent Mode v2 on every plan, including the free ones.
Other CookieYes alternatives
CookiePilot is not the only option, and the right one depends on what your site needs:
- Cookiebot prices by the number of subpages its scanner finds rather than by traffic. See our Cookiebot comparison for its current price list.
- Complianz is a WordPress plugin sold as an annual licence, a fit for a single WordPress site that wants the consent tool inside WordPress.
- CookieScript is a hosted CMP with paid plans and multilingual banners.
- Usercentrics is aimed at larger companies that need IAB TCF, many domains and enterprise contracts.

Switching from CookieYes
- Export your CookieYes consent log and keep it with your records. Consents collected by CookieYes stay with CookieYes.
- Create a free CookiePilot account, add the domain and let the first scan list your cookies.
- Set up the banner and categories, and check the Consent Mode v2 signals on a staging site or in Tag Assistant.
- Replace the CookieYes script or plugin with the CookiePilot snippet, then confirm that nothing non-essential fires before consent.
